Chedworth Parish Plan Steering Group

 

Minutes

 

Date: Wednesday 21st March 2007,  Time: 7pm

Location: The Seven Tuns

 

1. Present:

Lindy Gallagher (co-ordinator), Isobel Milne (secretary), Alison Lovett-Turner, Paul Cundick, Richard Todd

 

2. Apologies:

3. Minutes of the last meeting:

Agreed as all correct

                                                                                          

4. Chedworth Business Club:

LG and RT and Jo Todd met up to plan Business Club meeting.  Some posters have been put up around the village. Businesslink has closed there is no opportunity to get funding so Richard asked if any money could come from the Parish Plan fund. The decision was that when the amount needed and the cost of printing the Parish Plan was known, then a decision would be made.  RT distributed extra posters and the list of businesses in the Parish. The decision was made to give out promotional leaflets instead of posting them to save money. RT distributed them to the group as appropriate. LG, RT and Jo Todd to meet tomorrow to finalise details for the meeting..

 

5. Calor Gas Village of the Year Competition:

SM has agreed to help with a joint application and LG to assist her. ALT to talk to Stuart Lewis about the price of a special edition of the Hill and Valley with the results of the Parish Plan in it.

 

6. Youth Council

LG has been in contact with Claire Dowling from GRCC who is the Youth Liaison Officer.  LG is trying to arrange a meeting with her. Melanie Terrant emailed about a website which has information on how to set up a youth council,. Claire wanted to talk to Lindy before we go ahead with setting up the Youth Council.

 

7. Data Input

PC , RT and ALT to enter 10 questionnaires each. IM to enter 20. Al Clark has entered 100 and has 50 to enter. 210 questionnaires in total. The deadline for entering data is 1st April. IM to back up data on to a memory stick. IM to try and contact Jenny Moss again if needed. RT passed on the Village Appraisal disk to PC and is to email him the latest version of the questionnaire to input his data.

 

8. Paperwork

Everyone bought all their paperwork to do with the Parish Plan and it was sorted so that we have one copy of everything. IM to keep the Minutes and ALT to keep newspaper clippings and all other paperwork. IM to recycle the unneeded paperwork.
